Japan’s Mega Theme Park ‘Junglia Okinawa’ Selects NPR as Official PR Partner

In July 2025, a new concept theme park, 'JUNGLIA OKINAWA,' will open its doors in Yanbaru, northern Okinawa. Planned under the concept of 'Power Vacance!'—escaping the noise of the city and enjoying pristine nature—Junglia is a new destination-type resort that goes beyond conventional theme parks by fusing immersive experience content with relaxation, exploration, gastronomy, and culture.

NPR has been selected as the official communication partner for the Junglia Project in Korea and will execute an overall communication strategy to effectively convey the brand's philosophy and the value of the space to the domestic market.

Junglia is a prime example of public-private partnership aimed at shifting the focus of Japan's tourism industry away from its concentration in Tokyo and Osaka, and transforming the northern Okinawa region into a "tourism destination." Having attracted the attention of over 100 media outlets in Japan even before its launch, it is garnering interest in both domestic and international tourism markets, with NPR playing a key role in designing and executing strategic touchpoints with Korean media and consumers.

A collection of immersive attractions in the jungles of Okinawa

Junglia is designed as a large-scale mixed-use entertainment complex spanning 60 hectares, featuring 22 attractions, 15 F&B outlets, and the world's largest infinity spa. Rather than a space centered on simple rides, the content designed for sensory immersion and emotional liberation encourages visitors to stay.

Representative attractions feature extraordinary content not found in the city, such as 'Dinosaur Safari,' where visitors encounter life-sized dinosaurs; 'Horizon Balloon,' offering panoramic views of Okinawa's seas and jungles from a hot air balloon; and 'Buggy Voltage,' providing a thrilling drive through the jungle. In particular, 'Finding Dinosaurs,' an exploration-style attraction exclusively for children and families, emphasizes an experience design that appeals to all generations.

In addition to this, the UX design stands out for its organic connection of experience, relaxation, play, and healing, including the roller coaster-style experience 'Sky Phoenix' that runs over the rainforest, resort-style daytime and nighttime performance content, live performances and water shows, and the lifestyle-based F&B space 'Panorama Dining'.

Guinness Certification, the Differentiator of 'SPA JUNGLIA'

SPA JUNGLIA, one of the highlights of Junglia, consists of the world's largest infinity public bath (82.65㎡) certified by Guinness World Records™, a total of over 10 types of baths and saunas based on the natural hot spring water 'Nakijin-no-yu', an aroma spa, and a resort restaurant.

Exclusive amenities based on essential oils extracted from 100% Okinawan plants, such as burdock leaves, and a 'Tropical Oasis' menu based on local produce are designed to allow you to experience Okinawa's culture with all five senses, going beyond a simple spa experience.

NPR: Travel Content Branding and Strategic Publicity

NPR oversees all PR and communications for the Junglia Project within Korea. Focusing on Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategies—such as press relations, media briefings, and influencer engagements scheduled before and after the launch—NPR executes projects that connect the Junglia brand with consumers.

NPR has already proven its specialized capabilities in PR methods for branding travel destinations through collaborations with domestic and international tourism and travel brands such as Trip.com , Klook, Skyscanner, Hanwha Resorts, the Busan Tourism Organization, and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization. In particular, through a communication model that organically combines content design that transforms destinations into destinations, SEO-based digital communication, and offline experiential campaigns, we induce understanding of and experience of brands.

Junglia is not just a simple theme park. It is a single brand experience where “nature, adventure, healing, festivals, and gastronomy” are organically connected, and it is NPR’s role to convey this core message to Korea.

On July 25, 2025, a new history begins at 553-1 Kogayama, Nakijin-son, Okinawa Prefecture.
